EHV-1 Outbreak and Hurricane Season begins
Several horses competing at a Cutting Horse show in Utah have been diagnosed with Equine Herpes Virus-1 (EHV-1) which can cause respiratory disease, abortion and sometimes neurologic disease, Equine Herpes Myeloencephalopathy (EHM).

The Odessa Equine Clinic specializes in the care and well-being of the equine (horses, miniature horses and donkeys). We offer many equine veterinary services including wellness care, lameness, reproduction and dental services. Our four vets are fully equipped to perform many diagnostic procedures and services in the field. We also offer services on site should a client want to haul in to the clinic. To make an appointment please call our office. Business hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm. If you have an after hours emergency, we employ a 24 hour answering service that will put you in contact with the on-call veterinarian.
